I am just beginning programming, though I have some knowledge of the very basic concepts like variables from starting to learn Perl and Javascript, but giving up due to a lack of time and enthusiasm. However, I now am ready and willing to learn PHP and MySQL, since I already have a decent idea for a useful website.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm only 14 years old, but I would say I am smart.
